School of Engineering & Management
The “School of Engineering & Management” would be the eighth constituent unit of the D. Y. Patil Education Society (Deemed to be University), Kolhapur, which is nationally regarded as one of the preferred destinations for pursuing academic programs in Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Hospitality Studies, Allied Health Sciences, Pharmacy, and Interdisciplinary Studies along with cutting edge research in interdisciplinary fields specially in health sciences, stem cells, tissue engineering, nano-materials, and energy storage devices. DYPES was granted the status of a Deemed to be University by the then Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under Section 3 of University Grants Commission Act on September 01, 2005.
The School of Engineering & Management is being established to provide education in engineering, technology, management and computer applications in order to contribute to the pool of acclaimed technocrats and managers. The programs in engineering and technology under the ‘School’ would aim to enable the students to work on emerging technological areas such as intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of computer technology, core engineering, nanotechnology, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, analytics and visualization technologies, to satisfy engineering, healthcare and agriculture-based needs. The programs would lay emphasis on interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to address the challenges of developing world by ethical values and knowledge base.
The ‘School’ will offer four B. Tech. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and two PG programs namely MBA and MCA from academic session 2023-24.
About our six academic programs
1. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) 180 seats

2. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering60 seats

3. Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science)60 seats

4. Electrical Engineering 60 seats
The program would facilitate students to gain expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems, ranging from power generation and distribution to automation and control and power the world with knowledge of electrical engineering.
5. Master of Business Administration (MBA)60 seats
Develop leadership acumen and business expertise with our MBA program. Tailored to meet the demands of the corporate world, this program will would focus on enhancement of strategic thinking, management skills, and entrepreneurial mindset.
6. Master of Computer Applications (MCA)60 seats
Master the art of computer applications and software development. This program will provide a strong foundation in computer science principles and would empower learners to build innovative software solutions.
