Language Laboratory

The department of First Year Engineering has the facility of the Digital Language Laboratory. ACE Digital Language Lab software provides a controlled environment for students to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a target language. The software includes one teacher console and 20 Students Consoles.

Objectives:

  • To enhance students’ proficiency in the target language, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
  • To build a strong vocabulary base by offering access to wide range of audio and written materials
  • To help students develop accurate pronunciation and intonation in the language
  • To promote effective communication by providing opportunities for dialogue, conversation practice, and real-life scenarios
  • To improve listening comprehension skills through exposure to various accents, dialects and real- world recordings.
  • To familiarize students with the culture, customs, and traditions associated with the target language.
