Library is automated using RF tags to every book and smart cards to stakeholders. The hardware components used are,
Smart Kiosk
Issue / Return of any book can be done by student or staff, software interface is provided with touch enabled screen on the kiosk which allows the transactions hassle free.
Smart Rack
Student / staff can return books, just by putting it into smart rack, which is marked as “RETURNED” automatically, notification of the same can be seen on the screen attached to the rack.
Security Gate
RF reader enabled gate, alarms in case the book is taken if carried without any issue procedure performed.
Flap Barrier
Allows entry to the authorized person
The hardware along with its middleware is integrated with Library module of JUNO ERP from where all the reports can be drawn.
