CO1:
To discuss Basic Sciences i.e. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology and Microbiology in relation to Dermatology, STD and Leprosy.
CO2:
To describe etiopathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of common dermatological diseases/conditions.
CO3: To describe etiopathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and leprosy.
CO4:
To discuss etiology, pathogenesis, clinical features and treatment of various systemic diseases presenting with dermatological manifestations and interpret dermatological signs in relation to common systemic diseases, adverse drug reactions with special reference to dermatological manifestations.
CO5:
To demonstrate/Assist in conducting simple bedside clinical tests and investigative procedures such as gram staining, KOH examination, tissue smear, Giemsa stained smear, slit skin smear for AFB, patch testing and skin biopsy.
CO6:
To discuss principles and first aid treatment of major and minor dermatological emergencies.
CO7:
To discuss skin care education for prevention of skin diseases, organizing community surveys for skin and leprosy checkup including school children screening, organizing primary skin care services through primary health centres, communicate with public and individual to motivate to report and take treatment for STDs and Leprosy.
