ICFA instituted India Agribusiness Awards to be presented to the outstanding contributors in the areas of policies, programs, production, inputs, technologies, marketing, value addition, infrastructure and exports. Accordingly, ICFA constituted a 15 member high powered Jury under the chairmanship of Dr. Ramesh Chand, Hon’ble Member, NITI Ayog and finalized this award.
Dr. Sanjay D. Patil was selected for this award in recognition of various cropping methods, modern production and processing technology, balanced use of water, fertilizers and pesticides and various innovative experiments carried out on 205 acres of land in Talsande area.
