The D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur was established in the year 1989 and has since been catering to every aspect of medical education. It is committed to excellence in medical education and healthcare through teaching and training of its students to transform them into competent doctors, besides providing affordable healthcare services to the public at large.
The College offers wide range of health education programmes from UG to Doctoral degree (Ph.D.). It runs an undergraduate (UG) MBBS programme with intake capacity of150 and 80for Post-graduation (M.D. /M.S.) in 12 clinical branches.Additionally, it also runs M. Sc. in Medical Anatomy and Medical Biochemistry.
