The mission of DYPESDU is “… globally relevant quality higher education … providing required trained manpower …”. For this, faculty is important. The university is motivates and supports faculty to be updated, in technical fields, educational technology and personal growth. The university has an active incentive policy, consultancy policy.

Faculty receive Duty leave for academic events – AY2023-24, faculty attendance for 89 events was 1066. AY2023-24 a total of INR 9,70,111.00 was expensed on 124 faculty registrations for academic events – either sponsored or reimbursed. Promoting organization of academic events INR 41,06,763.00 has been spent AY2023-24. Of the 42 events, there were two international conferences, and eleven
National conferences.
Faculty receive incentives for publications, patents and copyrights, performance awards and Patent and copyright application fees are absorbed by the university. Last year a total of INR 17,89,506 was spent on this. Membership of professional associations was also reimbursed (INR 2,18,310).
The quality of faculty can be judged from facts – they received 10 awards, 19 achievement recognitions and 17 served as resource faculty in externally organized academic events. Around 44 faculty serve on external BOS, AC, Research bodies, Examiner panels, Research committees, etc.
