15 Oct 2023 To mark the Birth Anniversary of the former President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, a gesture of respect was made by presenting flowers by Mrs. Shreelekha Satam and Director Dr. Ajit Patil. This significant occasion was graced by the presence of Deputy Registrar Mr. Ashwin Desai, Department Head Mr. Abhijit Matkar, Librarian Mr. Akshay Bhosle, Assistant Librarian Mr. Sanket Landage, along with Assistant Professors Mr. Amit Kadam, Mr. Ravindra Huddar, Mr. Brijesh Patil, and Mr. Anees Singh.
In an effort to underscore the significance of 'वाचन प्रेरणा दिन' the works authored by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam were put on display. Mrs. Shreelekha Satam delivered an address to highlight the importance of this day, while Director Dr. Ajit Patil proposed that individuals allocate an hour each day to reading, thereby fostering a culture of learning and self-improvement.
