- Y. Patil College of Nursing has organized school health programme in Primary School Herle by the NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS) UNIT on 12/09/2018 under the guidance of Principal Prof. Suchitrarani Rathod and NSS Co-ordinators Mr. Shivagouda Patil Asst professor, Mr. Amit Mane, Asst professor. The NSS voluntaries were 4thyear B.Sc. (N)students.
Following events were planned for school children’s:
- Personal Hygiene
- Health Assessment
- Personal Hygiene
The 4th year B. Sc. (N) students 50 and 2 teachers conducted school health programme and given lecture on personal hygiene for school children’s which was very effective and helpful.
- Health Assessment
Followed by lecture on personal hygiene, the 4th year B. Sc. (N) students were conducted 160 school children’s health assessment its includes recording of height, weight and head to toe examination of school children’s. Identified some health problems like dental carries, skin diseases and referred some children’s for nearby PHC herle.
