Flu OPD

Flu OPD was established in the hospital on 16th April 2020and has been working 24×7 to screen both symptomatic and asymptomatic potential patients of SARS-COV2 infection.

Manned by Doctors, Residents, Interns, Nurses, Technical Staff and Support Staff of the hospital and medical college, the Flu OPD has screened over 30,000 people in the last 5 months and still counting.

As of 5th September a total of 29,941 nasopharyngeal swabs have been taken from potential patients in the Flu OPD. In addition 1,500 swabs have been received from home visits made by the staff and doctors.

All departments of the hospital have worked together with seamless coordination to keep the OPD working round-the-clock. Active participation of all members of Team DYP has ensured smooth functioning of the OPD. Staff from other DYP Group institutions have also joined hands to help in tasks such as computer entry, record-keeping and staffing.
