SERB (DST), NEW DELHI PROJECT SANCTIONED TO DR. ARVIND GULBAKE

Recently, Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi has sanctioned a Research Project with outlay of Rs. 32.84 lakhs to Dr. Arvind Gulbake, Coordinator, Research & Development, CIR. The duration of Project is three years. The sanctioned amount includes Rs. 23 lakhs for the purchase of new equipment required for research and salary of one Junior Research Fellow. The Research Project is related to the development of “SURFACE MODIFIED MAGNETIC SOLID LIPID NANOPARTICLES FOR IMAGING AND HYPERTHERMIA WITH DUAL DRUG THERAPY IN COLON CANCER”. In this project, Dr. Gulbake will develop surface modified spherical MSLNs containing dual drugs (curcumin and 5-Fluorouracil) as a versatile nanotool for theranostic application against colon cancer. Hon’ble President Dr. Sanjay D.
